As no one is able to know when the COVID pandemic will end, I do strongly recommend to plan your destination wedding with a local support that can support you in case you need to postpone the wedding date and let you live the experience without any stress.

• Be accurate

and properly read the contract from you planner and your vendors!
Make sure you protect yourself and work with someone who has experience with the pandemic and is informed or understands what events will look like for the next year so that you feel fully protected. Read accurately the cancellation policy of each contract you sign and what are the extra fee for a possible the wedding date postponement policy.
It is important to learn some lesson from the COVID pandemic and for the future destination wedding season we can pretend a clear policy for COVID/PANDEMIC/FORCE MAJEURE.
